Instagram Now Lets You Share Stories With Close Friends

first_img Sometimes the world doesn’t have to see our social media posts, and Instagram’s new “Close Friends” feature allows you to pick who can see Stories on your feed.On Thursday, Instagram announced in a press release that it rolled out Close Friends, a new feature where you can make a close friends list on Stories. The aim of Close Friends is to give Instagram users the flexibility to exchange intimate moments in a smaller group. All you have do is go to your Instagram profile and tap on the Close Friends option in the side menu. You’re the only person that can see your Close Friends list and no one can send you requests to be added to the group. Once you share to Stories, you’ll have the choice to click on the Close Friends icon. If one of your other besties has you on their Close Friends list, a small green badge will appear when you see their stories and vice versa.If you have the latest Android or iOS Instagram version, the Close Friends feature will automatically update on your account.
