first_imgDONEGAL is set to get more windfarms under plans unveiled by the Government.The plans foresee up to 5.6GW of wind, wave and tidal energy being generated by 2020 here in Donegal as well as Louth, Dublin, Wicklow and Wexford, Co Antrim and Co Down.About 300MW of offshore wind in Donegal will be harnessed – with huge windfarms visible off our coasts.
