HURLING: DUNGLOE/GAOTH DOBHAIR BEAT AODH RUADH IN U14 B CHAMPIONSHIP

first_imgThis ‘B’ final was played in O’Donnell Park in almost perfect conditions for hurling. Aodh Ruadh opened up the scoring with a fine point from Eoin Doherty after great work from Senan Rooney. However the north-west amalgamation replied with two quick goals and a point from full forward Dáithi Óg Roberts and Aodh Ruadh found themselves chasing the game. In fairness the Aodh Ruadh outfit never gave up and kept battling away picking off some nice points and a goal from Ryan Keenaghan from a goalmouth scramble.Adam Rami played some great hurling in the back line and did his best to limit scores to points but in the second half, with a slight wind assistance, further goals from James Hartnett and Dáithi Og sealed it for Dungloe/Gaoth Dobhair. This was a team effort from Dungloe/Gaoth Dobhair and they were just too strong for Aodh Ruadh. Best for Aodh Ruadh were Senan Rooney, Eoin Doherty and Adam Rami with Ryan Keenaghan also making a good contribution.Final Score was Dungloe/Gaoth Dobhair 5.12-Aodh Ruadh 1.3 HURLING: DUNGLOE/GAOTH DOBHAIR BEAT AODH RUADH IN U14 B CHAMPIONSHIP was last modified: June 13th, 2015 by StephenShare this:Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window)Click to share on Telegram (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)Click to share on Skype (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window) Tags:hurling U14 B Championshiplast_img
