LIME’s CEO of the Northern Caribbean Cluster, Jan Remmelg made the announcement on February 26th at the LIME Headquarter Office in Provo; at that time the application had not yet been filed at the Telecommunications Commission. Now the Commission confirms that it not only received and considered the application for acquisition; but with a determination posted on its website, the Commission has approved it.“The Turks and Caicos Telecommunications Commission (“Commission”) is pleased to inform you that Islandcom’s application for the transfer of its spectrum licence, number ranges under its network licence together with certain other business assets to Cable and Wireless Turks and Caicos Islands Limited (“LIME”) has been approved, subject to compliance with all applicable requirements under the laws of the Turks and Caicos Islands including without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, section 3(c) of the Frequency Management Regulation 2005 which mandates the efficient use of spectrum.”LIME admitted during that media announcement that it is very interested in the LTE license held by Islandcom. Indiana Depot LRA Seeks Executive Director for Industrial Park

first_imgThe Newport Chemical Depot Reuse Authority (NeCDRA) is searching for an executive director to oversee the business development, redevelopment initiatives, and economic incentives and policy of the Vermillion Rise Mega Park, a 7,500-acre industrial park in west central Indiana. The position serves under the direction of the NeCDRA board.The position’s duties include:Advises all aspects of economic development and redevelopment issues affecting the Vermillion Rise Mega Park, including vision, goals and objectives.Manages economic development projects and property land use, including real estate and land development agreements.Implements NeCDRA economic development strategy, including business retention and expansion, business attraction, and business ombudsman/advocacy.Nurtures community, regional and state networks to enhance business development opportunities.Manages the NeCDRA master plan including land use, zoning, transportation studies; administers local planning, and transportation planning programs.Works cooperatively with jurisdictions within the county.Conducts regional water district studies; prepares and presents open space proposals.Oversees and approves the NeCDRA community engagement activities.Minimum qualifications include:Minimum three years in same or related field.Staff management experience.Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, urban planning, public policy or a related field and a minimum of direct experience associated with business development in areas such as commercial, manufacturing and industrial development, and/or experience in community planning in a municipal environment; or equivalent.Commercial real estate knowledge.Budget preparation and resource management experience.Seeks sources of funding including federal, state and local revenues; revenues from sale of credits; and revenue from land and building rentals and sales.A full position profile is available on the Vermillion Rise website.
