Work takes place from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Local Area Office: 902-755-7077 NEW WORK COLCHESTER COUNTY: Highway 104 Until Tuesday, Aug. 31, sections of the east and westbound lanes of Highway 104 along the Cobequid Pass will be reduced to one lane, for patching between the toll plaza and Exit 12 at Masstown. Traffic on both sides of the Cobequid Pass toll plaza may also be reduced to one lane for road repairs and micro-surfacing. Drivers should watch for signs and drive with caution. Local Area Office: 902-679-4979 PICTOU COUNTY: Route 347, Sherbrooke Road Traffic on sections of Route 347, from Meiklefield Road south for 5.6 kilometres, and from Moose River Road south to French River Road for 2.6 kilometres, will be reduced to one lane for repaving until Tuesday, Aug. 31. Traffic control people and a pilot vehicle will be on site. Two lanes of traffic will remain open into Burnside during the morning rush hour and two lanes will be available leaving Burnside during the afternoon rush hour. Traffic on the overpass is reduced to two lanes and is controlled by traffic signals. Drivers should exercise caution and patience in the work area. A two-lane detour bridge is in place until a permanent bridge is built. The speed limit has been reduced to 60 km/h and warning signs are in place. Local Area Office: 902-533-2771 HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 102, Larry Uteck Interchange Traffic on Highway 102 at the Larry Uteck Interchange will be restricted to three lanes instead of four while new ramps are being built. The closed lane will vary depending on the time. Two lanes will be open for inbound traffic in the morning and outbound traffic in the evening. Drivers should use extra caution in the area. There will be timed lights at both overpasses to assist drivers through the construction zone but delays are expected. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Drivers can use Trunk 4 as an alternate route between Exit 37 (Monastery) and Exit 38 (Havre Boucher).
